Proactive Pitching
We will initiate and document ongoing contact with the key writers, analysts, TV producers, bloggers and other decision-makers to creatively pitch unique angles. We do extensive follow-up to ensure that all information is received, properly positioned and appropriately understood.
Press Tours
Vantage Communications will recommend and manage all aspects of a virtual or actual press road show. We will gain the meetings, prepare you for the briefings and manage the meetings and follow-up. If possible, an in-person press tour is ideal, however if there are time constraints, then we will arrange to virtually brief the top editors and key industry influencers via conference calls.
Analyst Relations
Industry analysts are an integral part of our PR initiatives. We look to these industry influencers to help build awareness about our clients. They are also valuable resources for the media and serve to educate the market about new product categories, companies to watch, etc.
New Media/Blogs
The media is using new ways of acquiring and transmitting information every day, and Vantage Communications will help you stay at the forefront of these new methods. We help you use new media to participate in online discussions in a way that builds customer relations and brand recognition.
Blogger Relations
In the past, a traditional public relations program was enough to reach your key influencers. Now, with the successful outcropping of new media tools like blogs, there are more and more voices participating in conversations about your industry and your company's products and services - a discussion in which you need to take part. We encourage providing a regular flow of information to this community, in addition to the traditional press and analyst community. Most importantly, we personalize the content based on the blogger’s preferences. Also, we monitor your key blogs and let you know when you need to be a part of the discussion.
Video Program
Increasingly we are considering video news clips and releases for clients, which are distributed on business news sites. This takes the form of an interviewer off camera with a “talking head” of a senior executive discussing a corporate announcement, a new service or customer win and where possible include customers on the video. This material can also be used on company and partner websites and indeed on customer sites as appropriate. Additionally, a longer video interview can be sliced and diced into multiple segments or be available for download as a podcast.
Audio/Podcasting
Podcasting is another way to reach your targeted audience and communicate your activities, message and accomplishments. We can arrange for the production of an audio/podcast. This is best done in the interview format and can incorporate clients’ views on trends, current deployments, interviews with customers, etc. This can also be set up as podcast to which staff, partner, customers and others can subscribe. The more the information is informative (rather than sales material and jargon) and content-based, the better the results.
Trade Shows
At the shows where our clients are exhibiting, Vantage Communications secures press meetings at the booth. The virtual trade show program is for securing meetings at shows where they are not actually exhibiting, but choose to attend. It is a great method for gaining awareness without having to invest in exhibiting.
Speakers Program
Ongoing efforts are made to obtain speaking engagements for your key executives at conferences and industry meetings where top tier media and influencers are present. This includes development of bios and abstracts, contact with shows and conferences, development and maintenance of tracking database, placement of speakers and general help in preparation.
