Ilene Adler, CEO
Ilene founded Vantage Communications in 1990 as an agency focused on maximizing awareness for technology clients in the domestic and international markets. Since then, she has successfully helped clients make the leap from start-ups to public companies, and assisted those that were later acquired by leading companies such as Cisco and Alcatel.
Prior to founding Vantage, Ilene was President of RAD Data Communication, Inc. where she built the company and sales force in the U.S., and spearheaded major OEM sales to AT&T and other companies. She started with RAD as Director of International Sales & Marketing, with a special focus on Europe and Asia.
Ilene has held additional international positions including Director of Software Exports at the Israel Export Institute where she started the software export department, managed marketing venues such as CeBIT Hanover, and created OEM and sales partnerships for Israeli and European companies. Just after receiving her MBA, she worked at JI Case as one of their ten worldwide project specialists both in Wisconsin and in the UK.
Ilene holds an M.B.A. in Marketing and International Business from NYU, where she was also president of the Urban Business Assistance Corporation (UBAC), which provides management consulting and business education services to minority entrepreneurs and business owners in NYC. As an undergrad, she earned a B.S. degree from S.U.N.Y. Buffalo. She has taught marketing as an adjunct professor at NYU.
Rob Adler, Vice President of Client Strategy
Rob joined Vantage Communications in 2002, after a career in management. Rob manages accounts in wireless and mobile. enterprise/SMB, IP communications and social media.
Rob delves deeply into clients’ technology using his business experience to find the key customer benefits in order to craft the most targeted messaging. He plays an integral role in the strategic positioning for our accounts, and clients appreciate his ability to quickly assess their marketplace.
Rob has successfully led the introduction of several clients to the market where they have received frequent coverage in top publications and analyst reports. One of his client’s press coverage increased more than 1000% within the first nine months of the PR campaign. Rob has a B.S. in Economics from Wharton, and a J.D. from NYU.
Catriona Harris, Account Director
In her role with the agency, Catriona assists clients to increase their exposure in the marketplace by executing media and analyst meetings, securing article placements, arranging speaking engagements and more. She also heads-up Vantage’s Orlando office.
Through her hard work and dedication, Catriona’s clients have received coverage in leading business and trade publications including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Network Computing and Financial Times.
Prior to joining Vantage, Catriona was the PR Manager at the Computer History Museum in Silicon Valley. While there, Catriona doubled the press exposure for the museum overall and obtained coveted placements within the local and international press.
Catriona has also spent time working as a news writer for the local San Francisco television stations. In addition, she worked as an Account Executive for Fineman Associates, a San Francisco PR agency. Catriona received her B.A. in Communications from Saint Mary’s College of California.
Fran Bosecker, Account Director
Fran is based in New York and has been with the company since 1999. She has been in PR for over 10 years and during that time has been focused on both public and private high-tech companies like NCR, Samsung, Columbitech, ECI Telecom, Harris Communications and many other small to large-sized organizations.
During her tenure with the agency, Fran has developed targeted strategies for companies, helping them to obtain recognition in new markets, regions and verticals. For one of her clients, she helped introduce them into the India market, where they received a large amount of press coverage and interest from potential customers and partners. Prior to joining the agency, she was an editor for Computer Shopper Magazine, a Ziff-Davis publication. She also spent time working for Edelman.
